Combined Y-Valve and Flow Diverter Valve Assembly

We are delighted to announce that UMS Flowell has filed a patent at the UK Patent Office for our Y-Valve Advanced. Patent Number GB1915669.4 – Combined Y-Valve and Flow Diverter Valve Assembly, has been filed at the UK Patent Office.
The Y-Valve Advanced incorporates the features of our Y-Valve and FMDV into a single unit which provides customers the benefits of both these valves in combination to eliminate the need for slickline runs to retrieve a blanking plug and also protect their ESP from backflow and accumulation of solids.

New Method of Installing a Pump Assembly

UMS Flowell are delighted to release that a patent has been filed for our new ABC Y-tool system. Patent number GB1906493.0 – Method of Installing a Pump Assembly, has been filed at the UK Patent Office, and we are now pursuing Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) patent applications.
The ABC Y-tool system shall benefit customers with quicker installation times, and the added benefit of not requiring to perform pre-job space outs. For more information please contact us.
New Flow Management Diverter Valve (FMDV)

Our new downhole FMDV valve combines a soft spring and a powerful magnetic ring to provide a strong hold down force during bypass flow, and a small resistive force in through tubing flow to prevent valve chatter and prolong spring life.
