Flow Management Diverter Valve Shifting Tool
The FMDV Shifting Tool is an optional accessory for the FMDV-S or FMDV-H products. The shifting tool can be run on slickline or coil tubing to exercise the tool, or to lock it closed (close the annulus ports).
When locking the FMDV closed, the inner portion of the shifting tool is retrieved to surface, allowing flow through the FMDV. When required, the outer section of the tool can be retrieved using an OTIS GS shifting tool and a purpose designed prong to retrieve the shifting tool using slickline or coil tubing.
