UMS Flowell have a SPECTROMAXx metal analyser in a clean room to carry out chemical analysis on raw material and castings that are supplied to us.

The material is checked against the mill or foundry certificate to check that the material being supplied is correct and to the required material specification. Where required, test bars are provided to obtain a comparison of mechanical and hardness tests at an independent test laboratory.
