Tubing Mounted Junk Basket
UMS Flowell’s Tubing Mounted Junk Basket is an integral part of the completion tubing string that is used as a means of catching dropped debris between the casing and tubing annulus, such as broken cable bands, bolts and other items that have been accidentally dropped into a well.
The junk basket can be configured for above an ESP – to prevent debris falling and blocking the pump intake, or alternatively the junk basket can be configured with a perforated pup joint above the junk basket and used below an ESP to prevent debris falling in to the lower completion.
