Offset Union
The UMS Flowell Offset Union is used to re-centre or adjust the centre of the tubing string components typically below offset hangers. The Offset Union is typically used below pod hangers with an eccentric tubing connection, where the height between the pod hanger and the ESP pump is required to be minimised.
The offset union has a specified required offset. The orientation of the offset is controlled by the UMS Flowell Piranha Lock connector which allows angular adjustment in 6-degree increments. This prevents the need for having timed threads to provide the required orientation. Once orientated to the required angular position, the clutch teeth of the Piranha Lock connector are locked in position to prevent rotation.
