Discharge Shroud
The discharge shroud replaces the pump discharge head and has a series of holes around the outside for making up the shroud adapter to the shroud discharge head. This allows the shroud to encapsulate the complete ESP.
A cable slot on the shroud discharge head allows the MLE and any chemical injection lines to enter the shroud. The ESP flange is either concentric or eccentric to the production tubing connection depending on the space available for the cables and service lines inside the shroud to go past the ESP.
